How the test works

Measure reaction time to a short audio cue. Enable sound, wait for the beep, then press the button or Space.

02

How the score is calculated

Reaction time is the median of the valid measured delays from the presented signal to the first accepted response, reducing the effect of one unusually fast or slow trial.

03

Measurement limits

Sound Reaction measures the path from an audio cue to your input, so speaker or headphone latency can shift the whole result. Keep one output device and volume level for comparisons, and avoid Bluetooth changes mid-session. Close unrelated audio applications if they can delay or interrupt the cue.
