How the test works
Measure response time to a sudden visual signal. Wait for the field to turn green, then click immediately.
How the score is calculated
Reaction time is the median of the valid measured delays from the presented signal to the first accepted response, reducing the effect of one unusually fast or slow trial.
Measurement limits
Visual reaction testing includes display latency as well as your response, so monitor refresh rate and browser/device differences matter. Do not anticipate the color change: false starts make the result less meaningful. Five or more valid trials and their median give a more stable picture than a single unusually fast click.
