How the test works
Measure wheel or touchpad scroll distance and event rate. Scroll in either direction inside the test area until time ends.
How the score is calculated
The score is the total number of accepted wheel or touchpad scroll events during the selected time window.
Measurement limits
The scroll test measures wheel events, not physical wheel distance. Free-spin wheels, ratcheted wheels and touchpads can produce very different event patterns, so choose one input device and direction before comparing scores. A smooth, repeatable movement is more informative than one accidental burst.
