Reliable improvement comes from repeatable technique, short practice blocks and consistent measurement.

Use short blocks

Do three to five runs, rest, then repeat. Long continuous sessions often reduce precision and make comparison noisy.

Track consistency

A slightly lower CPS with stable pacing is more useful than one spike followed by a large slowdown.

Stop when uncomfortable

Pain, numbness or persistent strain is a reason to stop. A speed test is not worth an injury.
