How the test works

Repeat an increasingly long sequence of flashing tiles. Watch the order carefully and click the tiles in the same order.

02

How the score is calculated

The displayed score is the sequence level reached. Each new level adds one item to the sequence that must be repeated in order.

03

Measurement limits

Sequence Memory adds order to spatial recall: remembering the correct items is not enough if their sequence is lost. Break longer chains into small chunks and rehearse the transition between chunks. Progress is best measured by the highest level you can reproduce repeatedly, not one sequence that happened to fit a familiar pattern.
