How the test works

Remember highlighted cells and reproduce the pattern. Watch the pattern, then select the same cells after they disappear.

How the score is calculated

The displayed score is the memory-grid level reached. Each higher level increases the number of cells that must be recalled.

Measurement limits

Memory Grid tests spatial recall: the challenge is remembering positions after the visual markers disappear. Group nearby cells into simple shapes or rows instead of naming every square separately. Screen size can change how easy the pattern is to scan, so compare attempts with the same layout and device orientation.
